Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

Love the different brew size settings, I just push the button and it grinds the right amount of coffee. I don't like that on even the courses settings it makes a fine powder that gets stuck to the back of the container. It's only the second grinder I've had but it is much better than my first blade style grinder.

Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

This is a good grinder for home use. We use it a couple of times a week for a particular coffee we enjoy. It grinds the coffee quickly and consistently. It is a bit messy, but with practice one can avoid much of that factor. If one wants to grind more than one variety of coffee it is a bit tedious to remove all of the beans of one variety in order to introduce a different kind of coffee. But it does the job for a lot less than a "designer" machine.

Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

The grind seems to be the same regardless of where the grind setting is placed. It works quickly and it is not too noisy. The grind is good enough for my filter type coffee machine. The only thing that bugs me big-time is the static cling of fine grounds all over the inside of the collection cup. It is very hard to get all the grounds out without making a mess of grounds all over place due to static cling. I really recommend you work on a sheet of newspaper to keep things clean. It would be nice if the lid for the whole beans snapped on so it would not be so easy to loose. Other than that, it is a good grinder for the money. i.e. cheap

Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

Love the Unit. Only thing is the plastic catch vessel is not static free. The grounds are charged so they make a bit of a mess. Also the catcher needs to be held in, as it wants to push out while grinding after a lot of use. For the Money, Best grinder I have owned.

I have a high quality Italian pressure pump esspresso machine and this grinder does not process coffee beans fine enough on finest setting. It is only good for ordinary coffee percolators.

Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

I roast my own coffee so this grinder meets my needs. The small hopper is enough for one or two full pots of coffee. It vibrates when grinding so you must hold it down to the counter surface. The receptacle for the grounds seems to hold static electricity so some ground coffee sticks to the sides.

Comments about Melitta Melitta Burr(DISCO: 2/8/2008) Coffee Grinder:

It is just okay. It rattles a lot when it grinds and the lid vibrates off. I'm a little disappointed. I'm not sure it is grinding the correct amount either. When I grind beans for ten cups it doesn't measure the same as when you measure with a coffee measuring spoon.
